Through the Lincoln School of Business & Management, the following degrees are available:

Introduction

The Certificate in Business Administration is designed to equip students with the competencies required to accomplish critical and innovative business objectives in today's dynamic and changing business environment and prepares learners for entry-level management positions in business, industry, government and social service agencies. Current supervisors, as well as those who wish to be supervisors, may use this program to obtain a firm foundation in management skills which can lead to career advancement.

This certificate is awarded to learners who complete the required courses with an accumulated grade point average of 2.0 or higher.

Learner’s can begin their course of study when they are ready and within defined parameters progress at your own pace. Learners may take more than one course at a time, however it is recommend that you do not, at least until you become entirely comfortable with your study system. The distance learning element of the program guarantees that learning takes place without any sort of disruption to learner careers.

Program Objective

The program is designed to provide an opportunity for learners to:

  • update their knowledge, skills and abilities;
  • make a transition into a managerial position;
  • use computer as a communication tool;
  • individuals returning to the workforce, or considering a career change.

Program Learning Outcome

Upon graduation, learners are expected to demonstrate the following skill set; 

  • work with most current business software applications;
  • demonstrate technical knowledge of business management concepts;
  • demonstrate secondary business skills such as customer relations.
