Associate of Science Business Administration

Introduction

The Associate of Science in Business Administration program is designed to provide the latest information in the field of management to prepare hybrid learners for careers in business. The program is designed to develop skills which can be utilized for immediate employment in an increasingly challenging business environment. Computer courses are included to provide sufficient knowledge of computer tools that are available to business for increasing productivity.

Learners are required to complete a total 67 credit hour for the ASBA program. Learners must satisfy the General Education requirements by completing 42 credit hour of college-level course work that includes social science courses to help them develop the critical thinking skills necessary to fill responsible leadership positions. The remaining 25 credit hour are earned from the business concentrations and university orientation course. A full-time student will take an average of one and a half month to complete 3 credits

Learner’s can begin their course of study when they are ready and within defined parameters progress at your own pace. Learners may take more than one course at a time, however it is recommend that you do

not, at least until you become entirely comfortable with your study system. The distance learning element of the program guarantees that learning takes place without any sort of disruption to learner careers.

Program Learning Outcome

Upon graduation, learners are expected to demonstrate the following skill set; 

  • prepare hybrid learners a strong foundation to continue their bachelor degree in business;
  • a sound knowledge of the key areas in business, accounting and management;
  • understand the importance of marketing and method employed to develop a marketing strategy;
  • knowledge for hybrid learners to face challenges in the business world;
  • develop a solid foundation in computers.

Admission Requirements

Entry Qualification an High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Degree Requirements

  • Successful completion of 67 credits hours;
  • Student must satisfy a minimum of 33 semester hours with PUT;
  • Maintain a 2.0 grade point average
